Key2 was set up in 2004 to meet the needs of young people leaving local authority care with complex and high support needs. All too often, this vulnerable group were ending up in lowest quality housing with little or no support. Since then, Key2 diversified to offer a range of services and expanded to become an important provider across the Midlands and South of England providing housing and support to over 225 young people. They employ 85+ full-time staff who work from their local bases in the towns and cities with staff employed directly by Key2. Agency staff are only used in exceptional circumstances.
